17th February 2021 saw the Post Brexit Trade Workshop held by Brexit.Trade, part of the Trade Gateways Programme operated by Local Merchant Services. The Workshop featured Experts who are all available through the Trade Gateways Programme to support organizations in their Trade Activities.

THE TRADE GATEWAYS PROGRAMME
The Trade Gateways Programme is currently in beta testing and will be in full operational mode this year. It creates access to Trade Gateways to countries that the UK has a Post Brexit Trade Deal with by providing the following features for each Trade Gateway.
– Access to Local Trade Experts for guidance in trade with the relevant country
– Access to Online Face To Face Meetings with Verified Buyers
– Access to Online Face To Face Meetings with Verified Suppliers
– Access to and the ability to feature Online Trade Catalogues
– Access to An Online Blockchain Facilitated Marketplace allowing for much faster, easier and secure cross border trade and payment
– Access to Blockchains Training to enable participation in the Blockchain Facilitated Marketplace
– Utilization of the Trade Gateways Blockchain to Facilitate Accruing Supply chains by using the blockchain to easily ascertain provenance and tracking, and generally address many of the issues that currently exist with traditional supply chains
– Provide Access to the required infrastructure to maximize the utilization of the Blockchain for Trade as above
– Use Blockchain and our Team of Local Trade experts to help address many of the disruption issues currently being seen as a result of Brexit
